SANTA MARGHERITA, Italië - de Fransman Rolain Jourdain, in de Open 60 monohull SILL PLEIN FRUIT wint de Regatta Rubicon met in de laatste etappe een eerste plaats te behalen.
Jourdain meld ons: "The Mediterranean really dished out the works. The mistral conditions which brought us home was such an invigorating experience. We were sleigh riding through mountains of spray for most of the final stretch, the only thing we didn't do was fly!"
Bobst Group kwam binnen als tweede 2 uur en 40 minuten na SILL PLEIN FRUIT, op 3de plek Armor Lux na 7 dagen, 16 uur en 25 minuten vaartijd.
Kingfisher liep vanmiddag binnen als 4de
